Overview
The Mindfulness and Resilience course delivered by Miad Healthcare is designed to support individuals in developing mindfulness skills to improve focus, performance and emotional regulation. This programme explores what mindfulness is and introduces key facts about stress, performance and learning within everyday working environments. Delegates will consider the relationship between performance, learning and environment, reflect using tools such as the Ribbon of Life and the Wheel of Life, and develop understanding of brain-based emotional responses. The course also focuses on recognising interference that impacts daily performance, improving emotional intelligence through reflection, and using practical mindfulness techniques, including breathing control, to support resilience, self-awareness and wellbeing.
