- Understand the importance of patient safety by focusing on developing an appropriate induction (standard 1) and assessing the competency of the trainee (4).
- Highlight 4 assessment tools and how to apply them (group to apply one assessment tool to understand the importance of a consistent and fair approach) (4).
- Discuss the importance of Establishing and Maintaining an Environment for learning (2).
- Explain 3 teaching methods (2, 3).
- Discuss Continuing Professional Development as an educator by linking own development to the 7 standards for excellent supervisors (7) Part 2: Learning and discussion – 2.5 hour the GMC Good Medical Practice Framework for Appraisal and Revalidation. - Define the GROW model and how it supports your career progression in coaching (5,6) List the 8 teaching behaviours (2,5).
- Discuss the trainee in difficulty and apply three models for feedback. (4,5,6) Using case studies and examples of trainees virtually (1,2,3,4,5,6,7).
- Address the standards for your own professional development as a medical educator (7) Post course work: 500 - 1000 words Case Study based on Reflection.

The AoME Accredited Educational and Clinical Supervisor delivered by Miad Healthcare is a aome accredited educational and clinical supervisor course that this live webinar programme has been designed to enhance the performance of Educational and named Clinical Supervisor for trainees, and aims to sharpen their teaching and coaching skills. It aims to help with their own development as well as that of their trainees, and will make a valuable contibution to their PDP and revalidation portfolio. It meets the AoME standards and has been reviewed by the Academy of Medical Educators, and received their accreditation. Individuals who successfully complete this course will be eligible to apply via a shortened process for full membership of the Academy of Medical Educators.
