- Understand the importance of the appraisal summary and agreeing the output statements.
- Ensure PDPs and summaries reflect an accurate record of the appraisal discussion.
Overview
The Appraiser Refresher delivered by Miad Healthcare is aimed at allowing experienced appraisers to revisit the appraisal and revalidation process, and understand the latest guidance from the GMC, NHS England and AoMRC (MAG 2022) and the challenges appraisers may face conducting appraisals. In addition, the course will introduce the GMC new Good Medical Practice domains (2024). The content of this webinar will also include a focus on doctors’ health and wellbeing. This webinar acts as a forum whereby attendees can interact with their peers and thus allows for the spreading of best practice. It is important that confidentiality is maintained throughout the programme, to enable appraisers to refer to and reflect on their experiences.
