Overview
To help newly appointed consultants become effective quickly, this course is tailored for Specialist Registrars in their final two years of training. Primarily aimed at trainees, this two-day virtual interactive course provides essential management skills, particularly for newly appointed consultants. The course offers insights into NHS management at both local and national levels, covering the organisation of the NHS. Participants will have the opportunity to develop practical skills such as applying for consultant posts (including application and interview processes), job planning, leadership skills, and understanding the current direction of the NHS.
You must be available for day 1 and day 2 to complete the course.
