Facilitator

I started my healthcare career in Australia as a nurse over 30 years ago. After working in neurosurgery, intensive care and cardiothoracic care, I completed a Master of Applied Management (Health) and began working in various managerial roles within both the private and public healthcare sector. I always had a keen interest in law, and in 2015 completed a Master’s in Medical Law and Ethics at De Montfort University, Leicester.

I have worked in a variety of different roles including clinical governance, risk management, complaint and incident management, clinical operations and even worked as a medical script advisor for a popular Australian TV medical drama.

I love getting the opportunity to meet with healthcare professionals and where possible, support them with their questions and concerns particularly in terms of medicolegal issues. I have met some wonderful dedicated and thoughtful professionals over the years.
