Hassan Al Hashimi

Hassan Al Hashimi qualified in medicine at Barts and The London School of Medicine and completed his GP training in the diverse and demanding areas of Central and East London. He is currently a GP in a busy London practice, with day-to-day experience of caring for patients across a wide range of conditions within multicultural communities.
Hassan brings over a decade of senior leadership experience across NHS-facing and corporate healthcare settings, most recently serving as National Clinical Director for Bupa Health Clinics. His work has focused on leading teams, improving services and supporting clinicians and leaders through change.
Alongside his clinical work, Hassan is an experienced doctor appraiser and appraisal teacher, and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College School of Medicine, contributing to teaching and supporting the development of future doctors one day per week. He holds a degree and strong interest in Sports and Exercise Medicine, with wider professional interests in preventative health, wellbeing, mental resilience and the safe, practical use of artificial intelligence.
Hassan is an EMCC-accredited coach and leadership coach, working with professionals including WHO country leaders, NHS directors, hospital consultants and senior leaders in organisations such as HSBC, AstraZeneca and UNICEF, as well as supporting participants on accelerated leadership development schemes.
