Van Hinman joined Miad as a consultant in May 2004, having previously managed a large London-based training organisation where he led a team of trainers and educators delivering consultancy and training solutions to major UK government departments, PLCs and SMEs.

He has researched, designed, developed and implemented programmes trialled both locally and nationally for organisations including the Home Office, Department for Transport, National Health Service, Learning and Skills Councils, Probation Service, Department for Education, Guidance Accreditation Board, Basic Skills Agency and Jobcentre Plus.

Van has also worked alongside numerous educational organisations including colleges, City & Guilds, Open College Network, the QCA and the Department for Transport, and has developed a number of accredited courses through these bodies.
